Company Highlights
-
The perfect location for lithium exploration: Pilbara, Australia
The region has a history of lithium exploration and production, with increasing developments during the past years.
-
Cuprite East & Cuprite West
The projects are two separate blocks with E45/4918 (Cuprite East) at 6,936 hectares and E45/5028 (Cuprite West) at 2,980 hectares. December, 2021, Chilean lithium producer SQM (Sociedad Quimica y Minera de Chile NYSE: SQM) announced a joint venture with Kalamazoo Resources (ASX:KZR) on KZR’s Dom’s Hill Lithium Project. The Cuprite West and Cuprite East Projects are strategically located on either side of the KZR Dom’s Hill Property.
-
Nortia Project: High potential for in-situ lithium
A site visit was recently completed at the Nortia Project and returned surface pegmatite float. The results indicate that it is highly likely that in situ pegmatite occurs on the project, and higher lithium values may be present.
-
Holds promising gold and base metal projects
The Company has an extensive land package located in the historic Pilbara Mining District of Western Australia. The package is comprised of five separate claim groups, prospective for precious metals, base metals and lithium.
-
Changes Name To OZ Lithium Corporation To Better Reflect It's Core Business
May 11, 2022 Australian Goldfields Limited announced that it intends to change its name to Oz Lithium Corporation to better reflect the direction of its business.

Project description
The Cuprite West & East Project comprises two tenements (109km2), circa 50km north-west of Marble Bar, that are deemed highly prospective for gold and base metal mineralization. The region has a history of lithium exploration and production, with recent local developments drawing the interest of the Company.
Historic work includes a rock chip sample program by Kalamazoo Resources PTY Ltd, which returned gold values ranging from 15.5 grams per tonne gold ( gptAu ) to 57.5 gpt Au, all within the Gorge Creek Area ( Western Australia Mineral Exploration reports ( WAMEX ) A10931), and drilling by Atlas Gold Limited with one meter intercepts ranging from 1.9 gpt Au to 6.7 gptAu and four meter intercepts ranging from 1.86 gptAu to 5.85 gptAu at the Farrel Well area ( WAMEX reports A86631A71514, A108778 and A108779.
Overall, the Cuprite West & East Project has the potential to host significant epigenetic gold and syngenetic massive sulphide mineralization.
Key takeaways:
1. Holds potential to host lithium, gold and base metal mineralization
2. Situated next door to lithium major SQM's million dollar JV with Kalamazoo
In December 2021, SQM entered a Joint Venture with Kalamazoo, to explore claims contiguous to Cuprite East and Cuprite West.
3. Surface sample program initiated
A surface sample program was recently initiated to identify any anomalous zones or outcrops. A total of 1,246 soil samples have been collected and are in transit to ALS Laboratories located in Brisbane, Australia, an ISO Certified laboratory.

Project description
The project is comprised of 19 blocks totaling 5,510 hectares and is located 30 kilometers east of the historic mining town of Nullagine. The project has road access to the very southern portion of the area. The Dalton Suite ultramafic unit is mapped as present in the center of the tenement with several shear/fault zones across the area.
Key takeaways:
1. Highly likely to find in-situ pegmatite on the property
Samples were visually identified in the field as pegmatite, and were sent to A.L.S. Laboratories of Brisbane, Australia, an ISO Certified Laboratory, for assy. All samples returned anomalous lithium values, which ranged from 8.3 ppm Li to 74.1 ppm Li. None of the samples were obtained from in situ pegmatite exposures. The results indicate that it is highly likely that in situ pegmatite occurs on the project, and higher lithium values may be present.
2. Located close to current lithium mining operations
Pilbara Minerals (ASX: PLS) Pilgangoora lithium operation, and Global Lithium Resources Marble Bar Lithium Deposit, are located in the Pilbara mining region, close to Australian Goldfields properties.
