Lithium Ionic Files NI 43-101 Report for Salinas Lithium Project

Lithium Ionic Corp. (TSXV: LTH; OTCQX: LTHCF; FSE: H3N) has announced the filing of an independent NI 43-101 compliant technical report for its Salinas Lithium Project in Minas Gerais, Brazil. This report is based on the initial Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) announced on April 4, 2024.

Lithium Ionic Salinas Project Technical Report

The report, titled ‘Independent Technical Report on Mineral Resources Estimate for the Baixa Grande – Salinas Lithium Project’, was prepared by GE21 Consultoria Mineral Ltda. in accordance with NI 43-101 Standards. It has an effective date of January 4, 2024. The MRE includes measured and indicated resources of 5.86 million tonnes (Mt) at 1.09% Li2O, and inferred resources of 8.90Mt at 0.97% Li2O.

Upcoming Assessments and Plans

Lithium Ionic is undertaking a Preliminary Economic Assessment for Salinas, expected to be completed in late 2024. Exploration work and drilling will continue throughout 2024 to expand and upgrade the mineral resources. An upgraded MRE is anticipated later this year.
