Lithium Ionic Announces 26% Global Mineral Resources Increase at Bandeira Project, Brazil

Lithium Ionic Corp. (TSXV: LTH; OTCQX: LTHCF; FSE: H3N) has announced a significant 26% increase in global mineral resources, reaching 60.1Mt, at its Bandeira Project in Minas Gerais, Brazil.

Key Highlights from the Updated Mineral Resource Estimate

Lithium Ionic’s latest assessment brings its total mineral resources to an impressive 60.1Mt, marking a substantial 26% increment. This update includes both Measured and Indicated (M&I) resources of 32.51Mt grading 1.31% Li2O and Inferred resources of 27.57Mt grading 1.24% Li2O. Furthermore, the focused Bandeira Project now has a revised estimate of 41.9 Mt grading 1.35% Li2O, highlighting the significant lithium potential.

With 233 drill holes amounting to 50,760 meters drilled from April 2022 to March 2024, the company underscores the rapid and scalable advancements in delineating lithium deposits within the region. Lithium Ionic also plans to continue exploration at Bandeira, Salinas, and Outro Lado, alongside other regional targets, to bolster its mineral resource inventory.

The Bandeira Project is situated in the Lithium Valley, within a renowned geological belt in the Araçuaí Pegmatite District, famed for its concentration of lithium-bearing pegmatites.
