Lithium South Development Corporation (TSX-V: LIS) is progressing with the drilling operations of its first deep pumping well within the HMN Li Project, located in Argentina’s lithium-rich zone.

Lithium South’s HMN Li Project Progress

Spanning over 3,287 hectares of the Hombre Muerto salar within the Salta Province, the project has successfully drilled the Alba Sabrina Production Well One (ASPW1) to a depth of 340 meters, approaching the planned 400 meters. This section has shown prospects of favorable porosity.
The company’s president, Adrian F. C. Hobkirk, expressed anticipation for the upcoming pumping test results once the well reaches its target depth.

Preliminary Economic Assessment Nears Completion

Consultants Knight Piesold Consulting and JDS Energy and Mining are finalizing the financial model for the announced Preliminary Economic Assessment. The PEA suggests a robust initial design capacity targeting 15,000 tonnes per annum of Lithium Carbonate Equivalent.
Lithium South, with a strong foothold in the heart of the lithium triangle, is on the verge of transitioning from exploration to development. This strategic move is supported by a NI 43-101 compliant resource estimate and is flanked by significant neighboring projects.
