Lithium Ionic Hits High-Grade Lithium at Salinas Project, Brazil

Lithium Ionic Corp. (TSXV: LTH; OTCQX: LTHCF; FSE: H3N) has reported high-grade assay results from its 2024 drilling program at the Salinas Lithium Project in Minas Gerais, Brazil. The project showed 1.59% Li2O over 15m at surface from 42 metres and additional significant intercepts enhancing the site’s lithological promise.

The Salinas Project continues to reveal its potential with the recent drill intercepts underscoring the enriching presence of lithium in the region. Lithium Ionic’s strategic drilling campaign forms part of the Company’s 50,000-metre drilling plan, targeting spodumene-rich pegmatite bodies that are outcropping at multiple sites across 14,182 hectares.

Salinas has witnessed approximately 25,000 metres of drilling since commencement in May 2023, aligning with the Company’s growth trajectory within Brazil’s burgeoning Lithium Valley. The procurement of the Salinas properties and its aggressive exploration demonstrate a commitment to resource estimation and development of regional projects.

Complimenting the Feasibility-stage Bandeira Project, the initial mineral resource estimate for Salinas is in the pipeline. This represents a critical step forward as Lithium Ionic bolsters its resource inventory amidst the lithium boom.
