Orford Reveals New LCT Pegmatite Targets in Nunavik Lithium Properties

Orford Mining Announces Lithium and Gold Exploration Targets

Orford Mining Corporation (TSXV: ORM) has announced 12 new lithium, cesium, and tantalum (LCT) pegmatite exploration targets in Nunavik, along with gold prospects.

Lithium Prospectivity Confirmed

The recent glacial till geochemistry results support the prospectivity of the Nunavik lithium properties, unveiling 12 anomalous lithium, cesium, and tantalum target areas. Active survey lines based on previous research have guided sampling efforts with 550 till samples collected across the Radiant, kWatt, and Wire properties.

Gold Exploration Potential Unveiled

Diamond drilling has showcased significant potential for gold within kWatt and Wire properties, with important gold in-till anomalies that complement the lithium findings. David Christie, President and CEO, emphasized the significant progress in the region’s lithium exploration and the promising targets for the upcoming 2024 field season.

Sampling Results Across Properties

On the Radiant property, five new areas have been deemed prospective, while kWatt’s sampling outlined six target areas. The Wire property has shown one new target area, enriching Orford’s exploration map with valuable insights into the territory’s potential.
