Tearlach Resources Limited (TEA.V) has announced the receipt of assay results from channel samples on Riches Spodumene Pegmatite, Parks Lake, Georgina Properties, Northwestern Ontario. Following the discovery of spodumene (Tearlach press release dated Oct. 18, 2023), fifteen channel samples across three channels confirm high-grade lithium mineralization, supporting the upcoming drill program.
Assay Highlights and Pegmatite Characteristics
The assays reveal significant lithium grades, with a notable 4.04% Li2O over 0.70 m. Riches Pegmatite extends along the peninsula’s strike and down dip. The area showcases a 2.6 km rare-element pegmatite zone with seven dykes, indicating the potential for additional spodumene pegmatites.
Infrastructure and Exploration Plans
With excellent infrastructure, Tearlach Resources has applied for a drill permit, anticipating approval in Q1 2024. Dr. Julie Selway, VP of Exploration, expressed her enthusiasm for the forthcoming maiden drill program based on the promising lithium assays.
Sample Analysis and Quality Control
Tearlach submitted 452 samples to Actlabs, with rigorous quality control measures in place. The samples underwent lithium metaborate/tetraborate fusion and were assayed for major oxides and trace elements.
