Argentina Lithium Advances Exploration with 30-Drill Program at Antofalla North

Argentina Lithium & Energy Corp. (LIT.V) has announced an aggressive exploration strategy at the Antofalla North project, aiming to drill up to 30 holes. The company’s VP of Exploration, Miles Rideout, revealed that following the success at Rincon West, the focus is now on Antofalla North, which is adjacent to Albemarle Corp’s lithium project. The geophysics indicate conductive units that could signify another significant lithium brine source.

The company has secured funding for its exploration activities, with up to fifteen million dollars (US) allocated for the coming year. CEO Nikolaos Cacos expressed confidence in a transformative year ahead, with the potential to progress towards resource delineation at their primary projects.

Rincon West Project Update

The Rincon West Project has seen the launch of a new 5-hole exploration drill program. The company is also preparing for additional drilling at Paso de Sico, pending permit approval.

Antofalla North Project Plans

At Antofalla North, Argentina Lithium plans to conduct 110 line-km of TEM geophysics and initiate drilling of 6 reconnaissance holes. Positive results could lead to an expanded drilling program.

Expansion at Pocitos and Incahuasi

The exploration program at Pocitos and Incahuasi has been increased, with a TEM surveying crew already mobilizing to Pocitos Salar.
