Surge Battery Metals Advances Nevada Lithium Project with Exploration Plan

West Vancouver, British Columbia–Surge Battery Metals Inc. (TSXV: NILI.V) has submitted an Exploration Plan of Operations to the Bureau of Land Management for its Nevada North Lithium Project, marking a significant step in lithium clay discovery development.

The plan, once approved, will allow for expanded drilling to refine the mineral resource area and potentially enlarge the known deposit. Surge’s proposed activities include installing groundwater wells, additional metallurgical testing, and geotechnical investigations.

The BLM will conduct an Environmental Assessment as part of the National Environmental Policy Act review process. Surge has completed necessary studies and will continue to work with the BLM on the permitting path.

Surge Battery Metals CEO, Mr. Greg Reimer, expressed satisfaction with reaching this milestone and outlined plans for the 2024 drill program within the current disturbance limit.

Alan J. Morris, MSc, CPG, has approved the technical content of this news release as a Qualified Person under National Instrument 43-101.

The Nevada North Lithium Project, owned by the Company, is located in Elko County, Nevada. Drilling has identified a mineralized zone of lithium-bearing clays with significant potential. The 2023 drill program aims to expand the known mineralization, with assay results pending.
