Hertz Lithium Inc. (HZLIF) has announced the successful acquisition of Canuck Lithium Corp. This follows the company’s news release on October 3, 2023, confirming the completion of the acquisition process.

Hertz’s New Ownership

Hertz now fully owns the ACDC Project, situated in the emerging hard rock lithium district in James Bay, Quebec, Canada. The ACDC property spans 265 square kilometers, with 516 contiguous mineral claims. It is located adjacent to Rio Tinto’s optioned Kaanaayaa Lithium Project and 26 km southeast of the Corvette Lithium Project owned by Patriot Battery Metals.

Future Plans

Hertz has engaged Mercator Geological Services to follow up on the initial priority targets within the 12 zones identified on the property. The company plans to supplement these efforts with an aerial Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) Survey for an enhanced understanding of the AC/DC Project’s lithology.

CEO Kal Malhi expressed satisfaction with the swift and efficient acquisition, stating plans for immediate groundwork at the ACDC property to aid in building their exploration program for 2024.
