Lithium Assay Results from Boardwalk Drilling Indicate High Grades

LithiumBank Resources Corp. (TSXV: LBNK) has announced the results of lithium assays from their Boardwalk Brine Project in Alberta, Canada. The assays reveal lithium concentrations of 82 mg/L over a 167-meter interval in the Leduc formation and 78 mg/L over an 84-meter interval in the Swan Hills formation.

Boardwalk Project Drilling Results

The sampling was conducted below the hydrocarbon zone in the Leduc and Swan Hills formations. The Leduc formation returned lithium grades ranging from 79.8 to 84.4 mg/L, averaging 82 mg/L over a 167-meter interval. Meanwhile, the Swan Hills formation yielded lithium concentrations between 76.3 and 79.9 mg/L, with an average of 78 mg/L over an 84-meter section.

Significance of the Findings

These results will contribute to an updated mineral resource estimate for the Boardwalk Project. The lithium grades from the Leduc formation are approximately 15% higher than those previously collected within the hydrocarbon zone. These enhanced lithium concentrations may influence the outcomes of Direct Lithium Extraction (DLE) pilot testing conducted by the company in Calgary.

Expert Oversight and Sampling Procedures

The drilling program, completed on August 8, 2024, involved a constant rate flow test in the Leduc formation and isolated swab testing in the Swan Hills formation. The sampling process was overseen by Gord McMillan, P. Geol., ensuring strict Quality Assurance and Quality Control. Samples were analyzed by AGAT Laboratory, with duplicates sent to Isobrine Laboratory and Bureau Veritas Laboratory for cross-verification.
