Marimaca Copper Corp. (TSX: MARI) has announced the successful closing of private placements totaling C$30.3 million. Assore International Holdings Limited led the strategic equity investment worth C$25,762,500.
Details of the Private Placements
The private placements include Assore International Holdings Limited acquiring 5,725,000 units, each at C$4.50. Each unit comprises one common share and one-half of a common share purchase warrant. The additional investor acquired 1,000,000 units at the same price.
Warrant Exercise Details
Each warrant allows Assore and the additional investor to purchase an extra common share at C$5.85 within 18 months following the investment closure.
AIH’s Acquisition of Shares from Tembo Capital
Alongside the private placements, AIH also completed the acquisition of 9,417,210 common shares from Tembo Capital at C$4.50 per share. This acquisition results in AIH holding approximately 14.99% of Marimaca’s issued and outstanding shares on a non-diluted basis.
