Quebec Precious Metals Corporation (CJC) announced the results of its annual shareholders’ meeting held on July 16, 2024.
Shareholders Meeting Results
Shareholders overwhelmingly approved all the resolutions, including the election of Geneviève Ayotte, Normand Champigny, Wanda Cutler, and James Shannon as directors. KPMG LLP was appointed as auditors.
Deferred Share Units and Stock Options
The Corporation issued 1,145,000 deferred share units (DSUs) pursuant to its Deferred Share Unit Plan (DSU Plan). Out of this, 1,070,000 DSUs were granted to directors and officers, and 75,000 to one employee. These DSUs will vest according to the terms of the granting agreements and one year from the date of grant, subject to TSXV Policy 4.4 and the Company’s security-based compensation plan. They are payable in common shares of the Company or in cash at the Company’s discretion.
The Corporation also granted 30,000 stock options (Options) to one consultant. Each Option allows the purchase of one common share at $0.10 per share. These Options are exercisable for two years and vest immediately. This grant complies with TSXV Policy 4.4 and the terms of QPM’s stock option plan.
