Manning Ventures Inc. (CSE: MANN; Frankfurt: 1H5), based in Vancouver, British Columbia, has announced it received all geochemical analysis from ALS Global for the soil geochemistry program conducted on the 896.3 Ha (2,215 acres) Copper Hill project. Copper Hill is located 40 km northeast of Hawthorne, Nevada, USA.
The soil geochemistry program involved collecting 216 samples along north-south trending lines spaced 90 meters apart, with samples taken at stations spaced 60 meters apart. The program included internal QA/QC procedures and the insertion of Certified Referenced Material (“CRM”) into the sampling stream.
Geochemical Survey Results
The survey identified two broad geochemical anomalous trends. The northern portion of the grid revealed a prominent east-west zone anomalous in iron, copper, and gold. In the southwestern portion, a northwesterly trending zone was identified, anomalous in tungsten, molybdenum, and arsenic. These anomalous zones form a halo encircling Copper Hill.
The east-west trending zone in the northern grid extends for 800 meters and is up to 200 meters wide, subparallel with structural lineaments identified by previous magnetic surveys. In the southwestern grid, a northwesterly zone contains higher concentrations of tungsten, molybdenum, and arsenic.
The company believes these results enhance its understanding of the skarn mineralization at Copper Hill.

Manning Ventures is planning a first phase drill program at Copper Hill and will announce further details soon.
About the Copper Hill Project
Copper Hill is located within the prolific Walker Lane trend in southern Nevada, one of the premier jurisdictions for precious metals mining in the world. The project hosts copper-gold-molybdenum mineralization in both porphyry and skarn styled deposits. It consists of 108 mineral claims covering an area of 893-ha, located 22 miles north of Hawthorne, Nevada, and is accessible via well-maintained County Roads.
The property includes a Jurassic Age quartz monzonite porphyry intruding Triassic age Luning Limestone. It covers 2.3 square miles, 33 miles east of the Yerington Copper District. Historically, high-grade copper was mined from underground shafts at Copper Hill, with production estimates of 1,000,000 pounds of copper between 1914 and 1926.
The Copper Hill mineralizing system forms a topographic high, partially covered by younger volcanic rocks. Identified minerals include bornite, chalcocite, chalcopyrite, chrysocolla, native copper, covellite, cuprite, gold, malachite, molybdenite, silver, and sphalerite.
Copper Hill was explored between 1959 and 1979, with further ground magnetics conducted in 2007. Rock sampling from this period returned copper values of 7.2% and 12.7%, and gold values of 1.06 g/t and 1.19 g/t.
The company is targeting a porphyry styled copper-molybdenum-gold deposit at Copper Hill.
