Patriot Battery Metals Announces Extensive Exploration and Development Plan at Corvette

Patriot Battery Metals Inc. (TSX: PMET, ASX: PMT, OTCQX: PMETF, FSE: R9GA) has announced the commencement of their 2024 Summer-Fall exploration program at the Corvette Property in Quebec. The project is situated near the CV5 Spodumene Pegmatite which boasts a maiden Mineral Resource Estimate of 109.2 Mt at 1.42% Li2O Inferred.

CV13 Pegmatite – Vega Zone

Two exploration rigs are currently operating at the CV13 Pegmatite, targeting the extensions of the newly discovered Vega Zone. The objective is to expand and delineate the high-grade mineralization further. Approximately 10,000 meters of drilling is planned for the summer-fall season.

CV5 Pegmatite Infill Drilling

Infill drilling at the CV5 Pegmatite is set to resume in early July and will continue until late September. The goal is to increase Mineral Resource Estimate confidence from Inferred to Indicated, supporting a feasibility study planned for the second half of 2025. Additional rigs will be deployed to help with this effort, focusing on geomechanical drilling.

Surface Exploration and Environmental Data Collection

Surface exploration activities, including detailed geological mapping and channel sampling, began in late May. Baseline environmental data collection is being carried out in partnership with local First Nations, focusing on vegetation, wildlife, and fish. This data will support the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment due in September 2025.

Shaakichiuwaanaan Exploration Camp

Phase one of the Shaakichiuwaanaan Camp has been completed, with accommodations for 80 people. The camp, which will expand to accommodate up to 150 individuals, plays a crucial role in minimizing exploration costs by providing a convenient operational center near the Corvette Property.

All-Season Road Now Operational

The CV5 Pegmatite is now accessible year-round through a newly constructed all-season road connecting it to Shaakichiuwaanaan Camp. This infrastructure reduces the need for helicopter transport, thereby saving costs and improving exploration efficiency.
