Brunswick Exploration Inc. (TSX-V: BRW, OTCQB: BRWXF) has announced significant findings from its Mirage winter drilling campaign in Quebec’s Eeyou Istchee-James Bay region, located about 40 kilometers south of the Trans-Taiga Road. The company revealed notable lithium intercepts in the MR-6 dyke and its vicinity, demonstrating its potential for expansion.
Key Highlights from the Winter Drilling Program
Drill results from the Mirage project included a remarkable lithium oxide (Li2O) grade of 1.55% over 93.45 meters in drill hole MR-24-62, which extends the MR-6 dyke further to the southwest. Additional findings include an extension of the MR-6 dyke to the north and the confirmation of a new MR-8 dyke in the North Zone with promising lithium grades. A total of 26 drill holes have been reported, with more results pending.
Mirage Project Drilling Overview
The Mirage Project features a wide area of spodumene-bearing pegmatite dykes, indicating significant potential for lithium exploration. The project area includes multiple wide, high-grade pegmatite dykes, especially in the MR-6 dyke, showcasing a thicker, higher-grade core that suggests zonation. Locations to the northeast and southwest show strong potential for further extension of known dykes.
Company’s Remarks on the Findings
Killian Charles, President and CEO of BRW, expressed excitement about the exploration potential of the Mirage Project. Charles highlighted the project’s rapid progress and its importance to Brunswick Exploration’s focus on lithium exploration in Canada, hinting at future plans for the project’s development.
QAQC and Expert Review
All drill core samples underwent rigorous QA/QC protocols under the supervision of Brunswick Exploration employees and contractors, with ALS laboratory performing the analyses. Simon T. Hébert, VP Development and a qualified person, has endorsed the technical content of these discoveries.
