Recharge Resources Ltd. (RR: CSE) (RECHF: OTC) (SL5: Frankfurt) is set to begin drill preparations with senior hydrologist and geologist Jason Van Den Akker from WSP Australia and their COO Phil Thomas visiting Pocitos 1 and 2 for the 2024 drill program. This crucial step aims to expand and upgrade the lithium carbonate equivalent (LCE) mineral resource estimate at the Pocitos Lithium Brine project.
Lithium Project Expansion Plan
The plan includes multiple phases:
- Confirming drill well locations through MT geophysics analysis with WSP.
- Signing drilling and geophysics contracts for well preparation and testing.
- Selecting wells for production based on flow tests and upgrading the mineral resource estimate.
Drilling and Production Goals
The company aims to convert 6-8 wells to production wells, assisting in reaching the 20,000-tonne production capacity for the planned Ekosolve™ plant.
CEO David Greenway expressed optimism about transitioning from exploration to defining the project’s resource and reserve estimates, which will kickstart the pilot plant phase.
About Pocitos Lithium Brine Project
Located near the town of Pocitos in Salta, Argentina, this project covers 1,332 hectares and has shown significant brine flow results from previous drilling campaigns. With over US$2.0 million invested in exploration, including drilling three wells, the project has proven lithium carbonate production with an extraction rate above 94%.
The project’s estimated mineral resource stands at 760,000 tonnes LCE, with plans to expand further upon completion of the upcoming drill program.
About Recharge Resources
