Lithium Ionic Reports High-Grade Lithium Results at Bandeira Project, Brazil

Lithium Ionic Corp. (TSXV: LTH) has announced high-grade lithium results from its Feasibility-stage Bandeira project in Brazil’s renowned ‘Lithium Valley’. The latest assays from 16 new drill holes reveal substantial lithium oxide (Li2O) concentrations, including 1.31% Li2O over 24.0m with higher-grade sections of 1.67% Li2O over 10.0m and 2.12% Li2O over 7.2m. CEO Blake Hylands expressed optimism about these outcomes, underscoring their potential to enhance the mineral resource estimate (MRE) and expand the deposit.

Exploration Progress at Bandeira Lithium Project

Bandeira’s recent drilling results highlight Lithium Ionic’s strides in lithium exploration within the Minas Gerais State. The property makes up approximately 90% of the company’s total resource tonnage and holds a promising MRE. Lithium Ionic’s ongoing efforts aim to position Bandeira for a production decision, as the company awaits environmental licensing in mid-2024.

Bandeira’s Li2O Drilling Highlights

The drill data includes several significant findings, such as:
– 1.31% Li2O over 24.0m, including 1.86% Li2O over 6.0m and 1.67% Li2O over 10.0m
– 2.12% Li2O over 7.2m
– 1.33% Li2O over 10.4m
These results underline the project’s robust mineralization and potential for resource expansion.
