K.Hill Advances Towards Production
After completing a thorough Environmental Impact Assessment process, Giyani submitted a comprehensive Environmental Impact Statement in March 2023. The Botswana Department of Environmental Affairs approved the EIA, granting a 25-year valid EA, essential for the project’s progress. With this in hand, Giyani also secured Land Board surface rights approvals and finalised the technical studies required to submit a Mining Licence application in December 2023. The proposed licence area will support K. Hill’s operations over its anticipated 57-year lifespan.
