LIFT Hits Significant Lithium Grades in NWT Yellowknife Project
Li-FT Power Ltd. (TSXV: LIFT) (OTCQX: LIFFF) (Frankfurt: WS0) has announced a series of high-grade lithium intersections from its recent drilling activities at the Northwest Territories’ Yellowknife Lithium Project.
Key Drilling Achievements
Notable findings include 26 meters of 1.14% Li2O at Fi SW pegmatite and 20 meters of 1.52% Li2O at Shorty pegmatite, among others, marking significant progress in the exploration and development of spodumene mineralization.
Fi Southwest and Shorty Pegmatite Highlights
Drilling at Fi Southwest yielded results up to 1.63% Li2O over 4 meters, showing promising spodumene mineralization depths. Meanwhile, the Shorty pegmatite returned up to 1.73% Li2O over 3 meters, indicating a robust lithium presence.
Ki Pegmatite Intersections
The Ki pegmatite also demonstrated potential with intersections up to 1.58% Li2O over 12 meters, reinforcing LIFT’s prospects in lithium resource development.
Progress and Next Steps
With the 2023 drilling program concluded, amounting to over 34,238 meters drilled, LIFT plans ongoing sample analysis and exploration to assess the commercial viability of the deposits.
LIFT has not ceased to innovate, continually pushing for advancements in mineral exploration in Canada’s lithium sector. Investors and interested parties await further updates as the project progresses.
