Mosaic Minerals Corporation (CSE: MOC) has announced the completion of eight drill holes totaling 2,475 meters at its Gaboury nickel project in Témiscamingue, Quebec. The drilling targeted three areas within the Pike zone, intersecting mineralized zones up to 150 meters wide. The Pike zone, known for nickel, copper, cobalt, and gold showings, extends over 4.5 kilometers.
Jonathan Hamel, President and CEO, stated that the drilling results will enhance the understanding of the Pike zone’s nickel potential. Gaboury is a key part of Mosaic’s portfolio, which includes over a dozen lithium projects.
The company also launched a $500,000 financing initiative to fund exploration of its lithium projects, particularly the Amanda project. The financing includes flow-through units priced at $0.08, with each unit comprising a share and a half-warrant exercisable at $0.12 for 18 months.
Gilles Laverdière, P.Geo., an independent consulting geologist and Qualified Person under NI 43-101, has approved the technical content of this release.
