VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Nov. 28, 2023 — American Lithium Corp. (TSX-V:LI | Nasdaq:AMLI | Frankfurt:5LA1) has announced the submission of the Semi-Detailed Environmental Impact Assessment Study (EIA-sd) for the Falchani Lithium Project in Southern Peru to the Ministry of Energy and Mines (MINEM). The EIA-sd, led by SRK Peru and supported by EDASI SAC’s environmental services, marks a significant step forward, completed ahead of schedule.

Falchani Project’s EIA-sd Submission

The EIA-sd began in July 2022, focusing on detailed hydrological and hydrogeological studies. With MINEM’s acknowledgment, the Company anticipates regulatory approval shortly. Following the Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS) and detailed mining and processing plans, the Final EIA Study will pave the way for construction and production at Falchani.

Simon Clarke, CEO of American Lithium, expressed pride in the team’s ability to progress the Falchani Project significantly, especially during challenging times for permitting in Peru. He also recognized the new Peruvian authorities’ support in expediting the process, aiming for swift lithium production in the country.
