E3 Lithium’s (ETL.V) Direct Lithium Extraction (DLE) pilot plant has showcased impressive performance, surpassing key performance indicators (KPIs) and setting the stage for commercial scalability.

Impressive DLE Pilot Results

E3 Lithium’s DLE system has achieved high lithium recovery rates at increased flow rate ratios, which could significantly reduce the costs of commercial facility operations. The pilot plant’s testing, which involved over 500 m3 of brine, has provided valuable data for commercial design and a comprehensive understanding of DLE technology performance on E3 Lithium’s brine resource.

CEO’s Statement on DLE Success

E3 Lithium’s CEO, Chris Doornbos, expressed satisfaction with the pilot’s operation since its launch in August, noting that the system’s performance exceeded expectations.

Future Testing and Optimization

With plans to test an additional third-party technology, E3 Lithium aims to refine the DLE process further and assess cost implications for the full process flow sheet integration through 2023 and into early 2024.
