Surge Battery Metals (NILI.V) neighbor, Sienna Resources Inc. (TSXV: SIE) (OTC Pink: SNNAF) (FSE: A1XCQ0), has announced BLM approval to drill up to 5 initial locations on its ‘Elko Lithium Project’ in Elko County, Nevada.

Elko Lithium Project

The project, spanning approximately 1200 contiguous acres, directly borders Surge Battery Metals’ ‘Nevada North Lithium Project’. Surge’s 2023 summer drilling program has reported high lithium values, with the highest grades for exploration to date on the Nevada North Lithium Project.

Sienna’s Response

Jason Gigliotti, President of Sienna, expressed his excitement about the area, especially considering the impressive lithium results from Surge Battery Metals. He revealed plans to commence drilling as soon as possible. Sienna, one of the largest landholders in Clayton Valley, Nevada, has sufficient funds for the anticipated exploration plans.

Additional BLM Approval

Recently, the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) approved Sienna for up to 4 additional holes on the 100% owned Blue Clay Lithium Project in Clayton Valley, Nevada. A new lithium discovery was revealed on this project in March 2022.
