Northern Lithium: £6 Million Fundraise

Northern Lithium, founded in 2017 and based in Wolsingham, County Durham, has announced plans to raise £6 million. They will use Crowdcube to attract small investors who wish to support their lithium extraction operations.

With up to 45 years of exclusive rights on 60,000 acres in the North Pennine Orefield, Northern Lithium aims to produce battery-grade lithium carbonate. As Nick Pople, Managing Director, emphasizes, the successful test paves the way for commercial production starting in 2027, with ambitions to deliver over 10,000 tonnes annually.
