LithiumBank Resources Completes Bulk Brine Sampling in Alberta

LithiumBank Resources Corp. (TSXV: LBNK) has announced the successful completion of its initial bulk brine sampling program at the Park Place Lithium Brine Project in Alberta, Canada. The company gathered 148 cubic meters of lithium-rich brine from a gas-producing well in the Leduc Formation.

The sampling revealed lithium concentrations ranging from 75.0 to 90.9 mg/L, with an average grade of 83.8 mg/L. This data is pivotal for LithiumBank’s pilot testing of Direct Lithium Extraction (DLE) technology at its Calgary facility.

Key Details of the Sampling Program

The brine was collected from the top 72 meters of the Leduc Formation and underwent a triple-phase separation process for oil, gas, and brine. Following de-gassing, the samples were transported and stored for further processing.

Quality Assurance and Analysis

LithiumBank adhered to stringent QA/QC protocols during sample collection, overseen by Maurice Shevalier of Matrix Solutions Inc. Samples were analyzed at AGAT Laboratories and Bureau Veritas in Calgary, ensuring reliable results.

Future Prospects

The bulk brine will be processed through LithiumBank’s DLE pilot plant, marking a significant step in proving the commercial viability of their DLE technology. This initiative is expected to advance the development of the Park Place and Boardwalk projects in Alberta.
