Focus on Norrabees Lithium Project
The Norrabees Lithium Project is part of a vast continental pegmatite field in Steinkopf, Northern Cape. It covers 167,000 hectares and includes 51 spodumene-bearing pegmatites. Initial exploration results, including confirmatory mapping and sampling of historical pegmatites, are pending.
Drilling Campaign and Resource Expansion
Chief Geologist Dr. J Hattingh is preparing to enhance historical high-grade results with a new drilling campaign. To date, the project has unveiled stockpiles of lithium ore that are more than five times the size of the original stockpile.
Corporate Developments and Acquisition
Moonbound Mining has executed a definitive agreement to acquire Continental Lithium Africa and its Namibian lithium asset. This acquisition is anticipated to close shortly, potentially expanding the company’s lithium exploration footprint across Africa.
Infrastructure and Community Support
The project is well-supported by existing infrastructure and nearby mining communities. Easy access to highways, power grids, and skilled labor makes the Norrabees Project highly viable. Moonbound has initiated workforce training programs as operations prepare for expansion.
