Moblan Lithium Project in Québec

The Moblan Project, located in northern Québec, Canada, comprises 20 claims over 433 hectares. Sayona Mining reports that 70% of the total tonnage is in the higher confidence measured and indicated categories. This increase reflects additional drilling results from 2023 and a major revision of the geological model.

Significance of Resource Expansion

CEO Lucas Dow remarked that expanding the Moblan Project’s resource underscores the company’s commitment to realizing asset potential. With this increase, 65.1 million tonnes at 1.25% lithium oxide are now in the measured and indicated categories.

Continued Exploration Efforts

Sayona Mining has commenced further testing with 70,000m of additional drilling, expected to conclude by year-end. This exploration is supported by funds raised in March 2023.

Increase in North American Lithium Project

Sayona Mining has also boosted its North American Lithium (NAL) Project’s resource estimate by 51%, reaching 87.9 million tonnes at 1.13% lithium oxide. The NAL Project serves as a pivotal part of the company’s operations in western Québec.

The company’s continued exploration investment aims to strategically grow its resource base, positioning Sayona Mining as a leading North American lithium producer.
