Shaakichiuwaanaan Lithium Project Exploration Target in Quebec Outlines Major Opportunity

Patriot Battery Metals Inc. (PMET) has announced a substantial exploration target for its Shaakichiuwaanaan Property in Quebec, Canada. The property, formerly known as Corvette, is accessible year-round and is near major regional powerline infrastructure.

Shaakichiuwaanaan Lithium Project Overview

The exploration target for the Shaakichiuwaanaan Project highlights the potential for additional tonnage. It estimates approximately 146 to 231 Mt at 1.0 to 1.5% Li2O. However, more exploration is needed to define a mineral resource conclusively.

Potential and Methodology

The exploration target doesn’t include the Shaakichiuwaanaan Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) announced concurrently and only considers the CV Lithium Trend and surrounding areas. The determination is based on an extensive dataset of surface rock samples, outcrop mappings, drill hole logs, geophysical surveys, and remote sensing data.

BBA Engineering Ltd., an independent consultant, conducted the analysis. Their methodology involved detailed 3D modeling of inferred LCT pegmatite bodies, constrained by known mineralized areas and capped at 200m vertical depth from the surface.

Company Statements

Darren L. Smith, Vice President of Exploration, emphasized that the exploration target showcases the potential still left to be assessed by drilling at the Shaakichiuwaanaan Project. The project includes eight distinct lithium pegmatite clusters, with only three having undergone significant drilling.

Ken Brinsden, President, CEO, and Managing Director, stated the exploration target provides clear guidance regarding the untested potential at the project. Significant drilling will be essential to confirm mineralized pegmatite and improve confidence in the mineral resource estimate.
