Vital Battery Metals Updates Phase 1 Exploration at Sting Copper Project

Vital Battery Metals Inc. (CSE: VBAM | OTC: VBAMF | FRA: C0O), announced an update on Phase 1 of its 2024 exploration program at the Sting Copper Project in western Newfoundland. Managed by Dahrouge Geological Consulting Ltd., the surface exploration included geologic mapping, rock and soil geochemical surveys, and prospecting during a three-week period in May and June 2024.

Summer 2024 Exploration Summary

Prospecting/Grab Sampling

– 43 grab samples collected, including sulphide-bearing samples in previously undocumented areas.
– Massive sulphide outcrop found in Jumbo Brook, indicating a potential 200+ meter trend of sulphide-bearing mineralization.

Channel Sampling

– Conducted eight channels totaling 11.64 meters and 25 individual samples from massive sulphide outcrops and quartz-carbonate, pyrite-bearing veins.
– Identified a 1+ meter interval of massive sulphide in Jumbo Brook.

Soil Sampling

– 449 soil samples obtained from the North Sting claim block.
– 134 soil samples collected from the Jumbo-Sting claim block to define the extent of Jumbo.

Adrian Lamoureux, CEO and President, commented, “The initial results showcase the Project’s potential for significant Cu-Au VMS Mineralization. We look forward to further developing the Jumbo-Lode area through IP surveys and drilling while awaiting assay results.”

Upcoming Work

Phase 1 exploration continues with a 13 line-km IP survey and associated line cutting, expected to complete in late July and early August 2024. Eastern Geophysics Ltd. has been engaged to conduct the survey, which aims to refine the geological model for massive sulphide occurrences.

All samples have been submitted for geochemical analysis to SGS Canada Inc. Analytical results and field observations will guide a 1000+ meter drill program in September 2024.
