Tantalex Lithium Resources Announces Cease Trade Order

Tantalex Lithium Resources Corp. (CSE: TTX – FSE: DW8 – OTCQB: TTLXF) has announced that the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) issued a failure-to-file cease trade order (FFCTO) to the Corporation on July 8, 2024.

Tantalex Lithium Announces Cease Trade Order Details

The FFCTO is due to Tantalex’s failure to file its audited annual financial statements, management discussion and analysis (MD&A), and certificates of the CEO and CFO for the year ended February 29, 2024.

The FFCTO prohibits the trading of Tantalex’s securities in each Canadian jurisdiction where the Corporation is a reporting issuer. However, there is an exception for beneficial securityholders who are not insiders or control persons as of July 8, 2024. They can sell securities acquired before this date if the sale is made through a “foreign organized regulated market” as defined by the Universal Market Integrity Rules and through an investment dealer registered in Canada.

Tantalex Lithium’s Plan to Address the Issue

Tantalex is working closely with its auditors to complete the audit, addressing complexities associated with commencing production this year. The Corporation intends to file the necessary documents as soon as possible and will provide updates as further information becomes available.
