Quebec Precious Metals Secures Funding for Lithium Project

Quebec Precious Metals Corporation (TSX.V:QPM)(OTCQB:CJCFF)(FSE:YXEP) has announced financial assistance up to $333,306 from the ministère des Ressources naturelles et des Forêts (MRNF). This funding supports their Elmer Est project in Northern Quebec.

MRNF Mineral Exploration Support Program

This financial support comes from the Mineral Exploration Support Program for Critical and Strategic Minerals (MCS). The program aids companies in advancing mineral exploration projects aimed at developing critical and strategic mineral deposits in Quebec.

CEO Comments on Funding

Normand Champigny, CEO of Quebec Precious Metals Corporation, stated, “We are very grateful to the MRNF for this assistance. It will facilitate geometallurgical studies to design an optimal treatment process, optimize production, and develop the lithium mineral resources identified at the Ninaaskumuwin lithium discovery.”

Ninaaskuwin Lithium Prospect

The Ninaaskuwin lithium prospect is easily accessible from the paved Billy Diamond highway, located about 50 km north of the ‘km 381’ rest stop. This area provides accommodation, catering, fuel, and power. Assay values from surface samples at the discovery outcrop yielded values up to 3.92% Li2O. The surface mineralization potentially extends along a 3.8 km-long NW-SE trend.
