QMET Mobilizes Drill to La Corne South Project in Val d’Or, Quebec

Q Precious and Battery Metals Corp. (CSE:QMET)(OTC PINK:BTKRF)(FRA:ONB) has announced the mobilization of a diamond drill to the La Corne South project, located north of Val d’Or, Quebec. Drilling is set to commence soon.

The initial drill hole will test a TDEM conductive target and magnetic high that aligns with sulphide mineralization intercepted in historic diamond drilling. This drilling revealed significant copper and silver, with traces of zinc and gold (Falconbridge report GM 62134, also see QMET news releases dated April 16 and June 20, 2024).

The geologic team, including Explo-Logik Inc. from Val d’Or, will oversee the drilling. They will identify and sample mineralized intercepts and continue the interpretation for targeting future drill holes. Drill core logging and sampling will take place at the Explo-Logik facility in Val d’Or. Recently, the team discovered pillow basalt lavas with veining and disseminated sulphides, indicating Volcanogenic Massive Sulphide (VMS) style mineralization. This discovery suggests strong potential for massive sulphides in the targeted area.
