Li-FT Power Ltd. (TSXV: LIFT), an industry leader in lithium exploration, has initiated a robust winter drilling operation focused on expanding resources within its Yellowknife Lithium Project, located in Northwest Territories.
Winter Drilling Program Objectives
LIFT seeks to maximize resource expansion by drilling over 100 holes, totaling 18,600 meters across six pegmatite prospects. This program is a strategic follow-up to the considerable 34,200-meter drilling conducted in 2023, targeting spodumene mineralization for optimal gains in tonnage with minimal drilling.
Expansion of BIG-East Pegmatite
The BIG-East pegmatite drilling plan includes 16 diamond drill holes, striving for up to 350 meters in vertical depth to continue the high-grade lithium intercepts reported in 2023, with plans to further explore northeastward and at greater depths.
Explorative Advances in Echo Pegmatite
The Echo pegmatite is set for extensive exploration with 54 drill holes projected. It is prospective for expanding known mineralization both northwestward and into the deeper feeder dyke, as not yet drilled by LIFT.
Advancements in Fi-Main & Fi-Southwest Pegmatites
In the Fi-Main and Fi-Southwest pegmatites, drilling aims to delineate mineralization along strike lengths and at depth based on rewarding results from 2023.
Further Exploration at Ki & Shorty Pegmatites
The Ki and Shorty pegmatites also stand as key focus areas, with further drilling planned to expand upon the significant intercepts secured in the previous year.
Robust Core Sampling and QA/QC Practices
LIFT is committed to exceptional quality assurance and quality control standards, ensuring rigour in core sampling and analysis, including blanks and certified reference checks as part of the QA/QC protocol.
Qualified Personnel Overseeing the Program
Expert oversight of LIFT’s scientific and technical information is provided by Ron Voordouw, ensuring compliance with high industry standards and professional ethical guidelines.
