Enertopia Corporation (OTCQB: ENRT) (CSE: ENRT) has announced its inaugural 43-101 West Tonopah Mineral Resource Report. The report reveals an indicated resource of 212,000 tonnes and an inferred resource of 420,000 tonnes of lithium carbonate equivalent. The West Tonopah Lithium Project, controlled entirely by Enertopia, spans 88 unpatented lode claims covering approximately 1,760 acres.
In less than 18 months, the company has completed two drill programs with 22 sonic drillholes totalling 4,913 feet. The project is adjacent to one of Nevada’s largest known lithium-claystone resources, with immediate highway access to the mining town of Tonopah.
The lithium-claystone resources at the project are constrained stratigraphically to the Siebert Formation sedimentary and pyroclastic rock strata. The project represents a project of merit and has reasonable prospects for eventual economic extraction.
The company has conducted preliminary metallurgical test work, indicating that lithium extractions of more than 80% may be expected of an unroasted sample. The company plans to move aggressively in 2023 to further de-risk the project with continued metallurgical testing, exploration, and core analysis.
