Q Battery Metals Corp. (QBAT.CN) has announced an update on the La Corne South project in Val-d’Or, Quebec. The geological team of Q Battery Metals recently completed an extensive sampling of pegmatite outcrops discovered earlier this year.

Sampling Program

The company used a diamond bladed rock saw for the recent sampling program. This allowed for a larger volume of material to be cut from the pegmatite outcrops. The samples were sent directly to the ALS Laboratory in North Vancouver, B.C.

Rock Sampling

In June, the company also conducted rock sampling. Seven rock samples from the June and September programs were submitted to ALS. The sampling included rock chip, grab samples, and float blocks. The best lithium value of 622 ppm was found in blocks of rock at the surface on the margin of a ridge of outcrop.

Geological Survey

The geological team conducted a property-wide tour of the La Corne South Property lithium target area in August 2023. The property is well crossed by good condition resource roads. The company plans to continue ground geophysical surveys to identify potential pegmatite beneath the sediment cover.

Q Battery Metals exploration programs in Quebec are supervised by Dr. Mathieu Piché, OGQ. The company has 100% interest in mineral claims within Quebec and British Columbia, targeting critical and precious metals.
